SACRED DAWN SUMMARY:
Sacred Dawn burst onto the Chicago metal scene in 2005 with an innovative mix of progressive metal and old-school hard rock. The band's unique blend of vocal harmonies delivered by front man and lead guitarist Lothar Keller set the band apart and launched numerous live appearances across the Midwest in support of international acts such as Symphony X, Cage, Firewind, Kamelot, Epica, Loudness, Testament... to name a few.
Through the years the band endured line-up changes resulting in downtime between releases, but also allowed Keller the opportunity to spread his wings musically. First by joining Divinity Compromised in 2009 as their front man/vocalist and in 2012 he co-founded Doom legends The Skull as guitarist and co-songwriter... along side with Chicago-based genre pioneers Eric Wagner & Ron Holzner (Trouble). Sacred Dawn began writing new material again in 2018 when guitarist John Vitale returned to Chicago. Drummer Mike Mousel (Divinity Compromised) completed the newly-reformed line-up along with bassist Joey Vega and Keller. Sacred Dawn even invited a few guest musicians such as keyboardist Paul Rau (Spillage) for the opening track Das Chaos Beginnt and also bassist Mike Lepond (Symphony X, Ross the Boss, Death Dealer) to do a bass solo in the song “The Lake of the Dismal Swamp”. Kellers wife Rena Keller brings her vocal talents as well in the song “The Lake of the Dismal Swamp”. The highly anticipated album “Dismal Swamp will be Sacred Dawns 3rd full length album since 2012 and will be released on Qumran Records and No Dust Records on Sept 29th, 2023.

A Dream Within is a juxtaposition between being awake and dreaming... and a subconscious mind making choices between light (good) and dark (evil). The progressive elements in the music take you on a dynamic journey as its starts off heavy and intense before taking you into dreamy atmospheric sonic experience The song follows the human experience and that fine line of right or wrong, good or bad... and ending up in the same place over and over again.

Alchemy Fire is a progressive heavy metal band founded in 2018 by Nottingham UK based lead guitarist and songwriter, Paul Wright. With its members located in the UK and USA, this international band attributes influences such as Iron Maiden, Helloween, Queensryche and Judas Priest to name a few. Through an acquaintance, Paul Wright was introduced to Tom Schofield. This introduction led to the collaboration and recording of guitar and drum scratch tracks. David Reed Watson accepted the invitation as vocalist and together with Paul Wright worked on lyrics and harmonies for this upcoming album. Using guest musicians for bass and keyboard, the band’s album was recorded at Monster Trax Studio in Newark/Nottingham UK by accomplished musician/guitarist, Composer and Producer Misha Nikolic (Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash). Grammy nominated, multi-platinum Producer and Mixer, Ulrich Wild, well-known for his work with bands such as Dethklok, Pantera, Static-X, White Zombie, Deftones and Breaking Benjamin, mixed and recorded the album at his LA studio, The Wilderness. Mastering was done by NYC based Grammy winning and multi-platinum awarded Mastering Engineer, Alex Psaroudakis. With the musical precision and talent of the band, along with the high-level engineering and production backgrounds involved, the album will hit you with a heavy metal wall of sound containing progressive elements. Soaring vocals and harmonies with atmospheric keyboards are backed by thunderous drumming and heavy bass tones to give the listener a balanced mix of fast to mid-paced guitar shredding songs. Alchemy Fire’s self-titled album set for release Spring of 2023 on music label Qumran Records, will be released digitally, on CD and a 160 gram deep purple vinyl. This album will be one to add to the collection.

Weapons of Choice, Carbellion’s third full-length album, pulls from nearly twenty years of experience and lessons learned by fire to deliver the group’s most compelling release to date. The ten-song collection brings together the band's strongest and most cohesive material to date, though its inception was rather unusual. "We started the record before COVID," says Kellenberger. "The pandemic made us stop temporarily, but we found a way to work together digitally during that time. That allowed us to write the record, which we took to the studio as material was finished, so some songs were recorded two years before others, but it was a constant creation process. Formed in Southeastern Wisconsin in 2004 with the idea they were better together than apart, the men of Carbellion have been forging an original path in music since day one. The members — Brandon Bauer (guitar), Cameron Kellenberger (vocals), Brent Nimz (drums), Jamie Damrow (lead guitar), Steve Sheppard (bass guitar) — fuse elements of grunge and thrash with a traditional rock structure to deliver driving anthems of lives lived on the outer rim of society. Their sound follows in the tradition of forward-thinking groups like Clutch and Alice In Chains, but with hooks and melodies ready for radio. While sharing the stage with peers and heroes, the group has performed more than 400 times across 20 states and counting with supporting slots for mainstream artists such as Motorhead, Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch, Buckcherry, Shinedown, Sevendust, Aranda, Valient Thorr, Reverend Horton Heat, Crobot, ’68, Gov’t Mule, Fu Manchu, The Sword, PM5k, Black Stone Cherry, and more. Highlights from the time on the road includes WIIL 95.1 Rock Fest, WIIL/FM Presents Rocktober Fest, Summerfest in Milwaukee, The Porcupine Bash, Bomblastica, Mukwanapalooza, Day of the Doomed, Live Nation Int’l Battle of the Bands Finals at HOB Sunset in Hollywood (RIP), and both NAMM Conventions—Summer & Winter. They have Rock Fest in Cadot, WI coming up in July 2023!

The densest sounding three piece on this side of the galaxy..(UK radio)
Take 50 years of Hard Rock, Metal, Southern Rock and a bit of Progressive Rock; Diggeth will digest it and will spew out their mix of all these genres in songs with hooks, heaviness and groove! This kick ass 3-piece band does give a complete new meaning to “Metal-‘n-Roll” with their breakthrough album Gringos Galacticos. Their live shows are legendary; the mix of genres is never forced, it flows, it pulses, it grinds and most important; it grooves! It leaves you with an impressive “beep” in your ears and makes you wonder: “How can a three piece sound so big?”
The band, founded by big bearded, veteran guitarslinger & vocalist, Harald “Big H”, know their trade: From the big sounding guitar and the weathered, raw and melancholic vocals, to the low-end thunder by bassplayer Natasja aka “Pebbles” and the grooving, heavy drums by Casper “The Chief”; This band is on fire.
To deliver more than a great show, it takes hard labour, practice and experience. Diggeth do understand that basic fact very well, they toured and played from 2004 up to the present, all over Europe and The UK multiple times.
This Intense touring brought them opening slots to a fine selection of respectable bands such as: Michael Schenker, Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer, Karma To Burn, Soulfly, Sacred Reich, Motörhead’s Phill Campbell And His Bastard Sons, Flotsam & Jetsam and Disturbed
All these impressions and experience were absorbed, digested and erupted on their critically acclaimed album Gringos Galacticos, which has been released in 2019 on No Dust Records and in 2020 in the USA by Qumran Records.
During the pandemic the band stayed to true to their motto “Keep On Diggin” and returned to the studio to write and record so much material, enough to fill a double vinyl album, entitled “Zero Hour In Doomtown”. This behemoth of an album will be released, through No Dust Records, in association with Suburban Records, for Europe and Qumran Records in the USA.

Vault was formed with the mindset, to bring musical pieces unlike your everyday pop song to the public. Each one of their songs can be viewed as a musical canvas, which brings forth a completely different palette of colors, though maintaining a distinctive style in the songs throughout. When listening to a Vault song you are reminded to critically look at yourself, and the world around you.
Influenced by modern progressive rock, classic rock, and hardrock, Vault sounds like a fresh combination of bands from their respective field such as; Steven Wilson, Opeth, Riverside, Rush and Porcupine Tree.
Maico Ordelmans - Guitars and Lead Vocals Kyle Janssen - Guitars and Backing Vocals Bram den Boer - Bass and Backing Vocals Casper Bongers - Drums

With roots going as far back as 2002, Spillage officially arrived on the scene in 2015 with their eponymous debut. Blazing guitars from the duo of Tony Spillman and Nick Bozidarevic turned the heads of metal heads everywhere, and the demand for live shows began to take shape. Spillage fine-tuned their metal prowess by performing wherever and whenever they could, including several high profile fests and direct support slots through 2017. However, with vocalist Lothar Keller departing the band to focus on other endeavors, Spillage needed to fill in the missing puzzle piece. Enter the mighty Elvin Rodriguez, who would bring with him a brilliant trick bag full of influences from Dio to Rob Halford. With the frontman spot solidified, Spillage were ready to step back into the studio for their sophomore effort which would become known as “Blood of Angels”. A magnificently crafted album featuring the grandiose title track, and riff heavy, and occasionally psychedelic, tracks such as “Disappear” and “Evil Doers”. The superb keyboard stylings of Paul Rau added a hint of Uriah Heep to these compositions while still keeping them firmly original. Spillage took to the road in a big way in 2019, bringing their brand of “chicago-doom” to as many venues as possible, highlighted by co-headlining tour with Metal Blade recording artist Brimstone Coven. The two bands barnstormed through the south and Midwest receiving high marks from all in attendance. 2021 now sees Spillage poised to release their strongest material to date. This October 29th, “Electric Exorcist” will be unveiled for all to hear. If the reaction to the lead single and title track is any indication, Spillage will be soaring to the next level at mach speed. Prepare for riffs. Prepare for doom. You have been warned! Prepare for… ELECTRIC EXORCIST!

Taking the best qualities of early Judas Priest & Uriah Heep, and mixing it with Uli Jon Roth era Scorpions, and a good dose of Chicago doom, Spillage manages to create brilliant, original music that stands well on its own in today's heavy scene.
